Usenet Servers

I picked up the following NNTP (Usenet newsgroup) servers from various Usenet messages. I haven't checked all of them and many of those I did only had local newsgroups, or were inoperative, or were not public access. Those that don't work now may work again next week or next month and vice versa. This is not a definitive resource, but I hope it may be useful. As an alternative, Michael Voigt's Public NNTP Server Search engine or James Abendschan's NewzBot will search for a public access NNTP server for any newsgroup you want to follow. There's also a partial list at Newsgroupworld.com.

If you are using Netscape or another integrated newsreader and Web browser you should be able to click on the following links. If you are not using such a browser, the links will not work.
